Lip Balm: Nivea Lip Care and Aquaphor

Many moons ago, I discovered Labello lip balm when I was traveling abroad.  I instantly fell in love with the product.  The problem?  They didn't sell it in the States.  As a result, I would buy and hoard Labello lip balm every time I traveled to a country that did sell it.  But in recent years, Nivea (who owns Labello) has finally brought Labello lip balm to the States under the name "Nivea Lip Care".  There are various versions:  untinted, tinted/flavored, spf, shimmering, hydrated, etc.  I like 'em all!

Nivea Lip Care works much better than Chapstick or Smith's Rosebud Salve.  The only product that I might like a little better is Aquaphor because it's a multi-use product.  Aquaphor is stellar for both chapped lips and chapped/dry hands.  It's Nivea Lip Care in the summer and Aquaphor in the winter.

Right now, Aquaphor is on sale at most drugstores' websites.  Nivea Lip Care is on sale at Drugstore.com.  However, if you live near an Ulta and have a "$5 off $10 purchase" coupon handy (which you should because you can find them in Instyle, Glamour and Allure), buy a few Nivea Lip Cares and you'll get a better deal!   Trust me, you'll want more than one.
